Suyash is the brainchild of Mr Mohanrao Ghaisas (Yashwant Ghaisas), a visionary
industrialist, dedicated social reformer, and staunch nationalist. A first-generation
entrepreneur of the 1960s, he is the Chairman of the Yashprabha Group of Companies in Pune and holds 17 patents across diverse fields. He has successfully established seven product lines through his entrepreneurial journey. Fondly known as Mohanrao within the
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), he served as the Karyavah of Pune Mahanagar.
In 1980, he founded Suyash with the mission of empowering tribal (Vanvasi/Janjati) farmers
through sustainable agriculture by strengthening agricultural practices and making them
financially self-reliant. Through years of keen observation and meticulous study of the
lifestyle, challenges, and farming practices of Vanvasi communities, he developed the
Dashsutri (10-Point) Programme—a comprehensive model that significantly improves
agricultural productivity, enhances farmers' incomes, and promotes long-term rural
development. He firmly believed that agriculture and agriculture based cottage industries are the backbone of India's economy and that empowering grassroots farmers is the key to building a stronger and more prosperous nation.
Mrs S. Y. Ghaisas is a dynamic industrialist, accomplished business leader, and strategic thinker. She is the Chairperson of the Minilec Group of Industries, Pune, and the wife of Mr Y. G. Ghaisas. Over the years, she has earned recognition for her exemplary leadership and has served as a managing member of several prestigious committees across India.
She is the Chairperson of Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha and the former Vice President of Laghu Udyog Bharati, a nationwide organisation representing MSMEs. Widely respected for her exceptional management and mentoring skills, she has played a pivotal role in guiding numerous MSMEs through challenging times, helping them achieve stability and sustainable growth. She has worked shoulder to shoulder with Mr Y. G. Ghaisas in building and strengthening the vision of Suyash, making significant contributions to its mission of

engineering manufacturing company specialising in automated storage and material handling systems for over two decades before diversifying into the construction and fashion industries. Coming from a family of industrial leaders with a strong Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) background, she combines sound business acumen with exceptional management capabilities and a deep commitment to giving back to society.
As the Chief Executive Officer of Suyash Charitable Trust, she leads the organisation's
strategic initiatives, oversees its diverse activities, and drives its vision and mission. Under
her leadership, the Trust continues to expand its impact by empowering rural and tribal
communities through sustainable development, agriculture, and women-led livelihood
initiatives.
