As many as 600 Suyash workers attended this conference, held on the premises of the Dr. Hedgewar Smarak Samiti at Reshimbagh in Nagpur. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat and Zee Group founder Subhash Chandra addressed the gathering at the inaugural function. The next day, the then Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Jual Oram and Bharatiya Janata Party’s Kisan Morcha President Vijaypal Singh Tomar saw the exhibition and later interacted with the workers.

Suyash started organizing funfairs to facilitate communication between the tribal families and the workers. Funfairs were also an effective way to inform other communities, political leaders, and government officers about Suyash’s activities. Suyash organized such funfairs at 15 places in five states where its agricultural development programs had brought prosperity to the villages. Another reason for organizing the fairs was to enable Suyash to expand its work. Farmers from surrounding villages attended the fairs, and Suyash workers told them how to make their villages prosperous. Due to this, Suyash’s areas of operation gradually increased. People’s representatives, political leaders, government officers, and other dignitaries attended these fairs. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh general secretary Bhaiyyaji Joshi and Union Minister Gajendrasingh Shekhawat attended the funfair held at Kushalgarh. Dinesh Kulkarni of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh attended the Wardha funfair, and the then Maharashtra Minister for Tribal Development Vishnu Savara addressed the gathering at the Palghar funfair.
